The Clinical Research Nurse Manager Hematology Oncology will join a prestigious, 300-bed academic medical center that has become the premier healthcare provider in this thriving region of more than 500,000 residents. This not-for-profit hospital and Trauma Center has paved the way for innovative and high-quality patient care since its founding more than 60 years ago and boasts award-winning services in Surgical, Cardiac, Neuro, and Cancer Care.
This progressive medical-surgical hospital is partnering with the most sought-after universities and healthcare organizations in the region to build a new, state-of-the-art clinical research program, and the Clinical Research Nurse Manager Hematology Oncology will play an integral role in ensuring its success.
The Clinical Research Nurse Manager Hematology will oversee all daily operations for this multi-faceted department and provide invaluable strategic direction to the new program. They will lead a passionate and hard-working nursing / research staff of 20+ employees and serve as a role model for the unit and an important resource. They will play a hands-on role in conducting study subject visits and obtaining participant consent, while managing multiple Clinical Trials at once and ensuring quality management and adherence to protocols. They RN Manager will lastly partner with the Director of the Cancer Institute to maintain departmental budget and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders.
