The Nurse Specialist Oncology will assess plan, evaluate and ensure the implementation of age specific patient care to achieve identified outcomes. They use their specialized nursing skills to treat and educate patients so they can understand. The Registered Nurse Specialist will follow oncology-specific policies and procedures, ensures that patients are properly scheduled for treatment regimens ordered, and other duties as assigned.
