A new and exciting opportunity has just become available as a Cardiovascular CNS Clinical Nurse Specialist serving across the entire Cardiology and CV service line at a state-of-the-art hospital in Northwestern Indiana. The CNS will educate the staff, patients, and their families while improving the quality of care administered through evidence based practice methods.

Some of these awards include being certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) and designation as a Primary Stroke Center by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program. This hospital utilizes the newest technology and advanced practices to deliver compassionate patient-centered care.
Reporting directly to the Nurse Director of Cardiovascular Services, the Cardiovascular Clinical Nurse Specialist will work on a multidisciplinary team across several units and serve as a clinical expert, staying current with evidence based practices and oversee the implementation and execution of said practices. The Cardiovascular CNS will function autonomously and must provide educational leadership on a wide variety of cases throughout the cardiovascular service line.
